Summer Odds and Ends

Brent and I fixed the big hole in our wall from a water leak. After about six months of having on open hole, we painted the wall and had someone install baseboard. It’s amazing how nice a house looks without a hole in the wall.

This summer I went to visit my great aunt Alma Ruth. I lived with her when I was completing my summer externship in St. George. She is a feisty and lovely lady. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about the past. I also learned lots of fun stories about my relatives.

I also spent time in Arizona catching up with good friends and family. I stayed with my friend Kristen and took absolutely no pictures. I also spent time with my cousins making cute graphic t-shirts.

My dad came to visit and we took him to a delicious Argentine bakery as well as the Dallas Arboretum.

Brent showed off his amazing juggling skills – a secret he kept from me until about two years into our marriage.

Brent went to Chicago for his Fantasy Football draft. I wasn’t there so I don’t know what he did.
